We welcome approaches from those who can adopt elderly people in need or are willing to sponsor their expenses.
We understand that you may have children who have ‘left the nest’ and perhaps have a spare room that you can offer to a homeless elderly person who would
benefit from your support.
We are looking for big hearted people in the wider community to take in elderly people who have been abandoned and maybe in need of tender, loving care
from someone they can rebuild their trust with.
We particularly welcome approaches from anyone who has experience of taking care of elderly, or physically disabled people and who is prepared to put in the time and care
to adopt an elderly person in need, as if they were their own family.
This is really personally rewarding work, but we understand it is also a big commitment, and you will not be left on your own with the
support and care you offer. Donate Now !
The Manikan Foundation will be working with you to ensure that the person you care for is able to access the best possible range of support available.
We want to make sure that your family and the needs of the elderly person are as good a match for each other as possible, and endeavor to get to know you as well as we know our beneficiaries.
You will be as much an advocate and service development partner as the professionals with whom we will put you in touch.
Let’s work together soon. Please get in touch if you think adopting an elderly person is something you would really like to find out more about.
One of our team will come to your home and interview you and your family members to assess whether you can help.
